Thanks to Lipstiq, I watched Lorax in 3D at GSC, Midvalley last Friday night! Just in case you have no clue who or what is Lorax.
It was a fun evening after a long week. Should always have fun on Friday nights. Anyways, don't you guys like ALL of Dr. Seuss' ? Stories with funny characters and a great deal of imagination.
Basically the movie is about a boy named Ted who's trying to impress a girl named Audrey by looking for a REAL tree. The place that they lived in - Thneedville where everything is fake and they have to BUY air to breath in.
Ted (Zac Efron) the boy
Audrey (Taylor Swift) the girl
Along the way of discovering where to get a real tree, Ted learns about Lorax the grumpy yet charming creature who is THE Tree Guardian from the Once-ler (Ed Helms).
Lorax (Danny DeVito) - the tree guardian
Lorax is suppose to guard this land full of beautiful Truffula trees and where a lot of cute and funny animals live from the greedy Once-ler.
Land full of Truffula trees
Cute bears being bride with marshmallows
Singing fishes
Lorax and the Once-ler
Once-ler chop off Truffula trees because he needed to make Thneeds with it and sell them of to make a living.
Once-ler chopping down a tree
Lorax being a tree guardian as he is, warned Oncer-ler not to cut down any trees and made him promise not to do so.
Lorax being upset that a tree has been cut down
Unfortunately Once-ler didn't kept his promise and what Thneedville is now is all because of him.
Residents of Thneedville need to buy air from Mr. O'Hare which made him the richest man in town and him trying to stop Ted from finding out about real trees.
Mr. O'Hare (Rob Riggle)
Well, you will know who save the day at the end. I'll leave you to finish up the movie yourself.

Lorax for me, it's a very educational movie for kids and also adults. The movie mainly telling us to save more tress so that we (humans and animals) can have a better environment to live in together.
Ending this post with my favourite quote from Dr. Seuss' Lorax
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot or
While the movie is funnier than the book, the drawback of this modernized version is that it loses the timeless quality of the story on the page. Still, I had a good time and it will definitely resonate well with plenty of adults and just about every kid imaginable. Great review. Check out my review when you can.
