What a Sunday!

Went to swim in the wee morning! It's been quite some time I last swan. Swimming is my ONLY best sport! FML Though I really like swimming a lot. Wanna get those fat off my body, tone, firm and be healthy! Apparently, from a gym personal trainer + weighting body weight and fat that I'm FAIR but near OBESE! WTF! Been working out hard for the last month and I lost 1 KG! Happy! So, I wanna keep it up!

PS: I'm still a size S, but somehow the detector said that I have 29% of fat which is a lot! Damn!

After swimming session when to have Japanese Lunch Buffet@Zen, Sunway Pyramid with colleagues. *There goes my hard work out :S * Didn't take any pictures cos wasn't having any photo mode. The food was great, fresh sashimi, yumz! Zen and Rakuzen is under the same group and I have tried Rakuzen Lunch Buffet. The food in the menu is exactly the same and the price is the same too. RM 55 ++ and it's only available for Sunday Lunch Buffet starting from 12pm - 2.30pm. Yes! There's plenty of time to pig out! I love the Green Tea Ice Cream a lot <3 The lunch was so full till everyone want to keep walking around to stop filling stuff!

We hang around and shop a bit. Then everyone was thirsty and one of us haven't try the now very popular Chatime Bubble Tea and so we head on for more calories! *Rolled eyes* The queue was long but we still waited. Got our drinks and we just sit and drank and chat more. By the end of the day, everyone fill like puking out what we had for the day but none did though LOL

Tired and still full... don't think will be eating Japanese food for quite some time and no dinner and next day's breakfast for me.

Pirates craze

Here's something fun for all you Pirates of the Caribbean hardcore fans.

Pirate ship inside a mall? Totally awesomesauce to the max! I think Midvalley Mega Mall always has awesome decos!

This time Midvalley Mega Mall has decorate the whole Pirates of the Caribbean theme to collaborate with the movie!

What you waiting for? Head to Midvalley Mega Mall dress as a pirate and snaps some really cool pictures. Kids totally will like this theme. Parents, you don't have to have a headache on where to bring your kid this weekend!

Feels like a small section of Disneyland to me >.<
UPDATE: There's a mini Pirates of the Caribbean 4 show at 7pm (if I'm not mistaken) at Midvalley's centre court. The show is not bad though. This event is held by Master Card & Malaysia Airline where you can have a chance to win a pair of tickets to Maldives! Just spend RM 150 and above in a single receipt and you might be heading to Maldives with your partner!

Pirates of The Caribbean: On Strangers Tides

Ngek..Ngek...Ngek... I got tickets to watch Pirates of the Caribbean: On Strangers Tides WAY before you all!!!! Hmm... although this is a WAY late post, Blogger PHAIL!!! As to recall for you, I previously had written a post for the movie contest. You can read it here. Big thanks to Nuffnang again! Love you guys!
 Tickets !!!

Watch this movie in 3D but it wasn't as great about watching it in 3D as I thought. So off you go money saver tip, watch this movie in 2D is just as good enough. I guess there wasn't much characters/animals/CG effects that could have a 3D effect on. If it's in cartoon/animation 3D will be awesome! It's a well worth of 2 and a half hours movie. *phew...my ass wasn't hurt from the excitement*

This sequel is not as complicated as the previous and you do not need to remember any of the previous sequels to understand this one. There wasn't much linkage with the previous sequels. There's no Orlando Bloom, no Keira Knightley, no Chow Yong Fatt? (joke phail!) For those absence in this sequel was replaced by Penelope Cruz and Mermaids!!! (Astrid Berges Frisbey as the main mermaid)

Usually Mermaids are always being told that they are beautiful, harmful and sings well. In this movie, Mermaids are being beautiful, sings well, seduce men, rape them and eat their flesh alive! FTL Beautiful yet evil! I like it's how been told in here. There's a battle scene between pirates and mermaids! Mermaids just kick ass! (or tails)
Me not being a spoiler so you should go watch the movie yourself. I will not be telling how the movie is going to be but just on the likings of the movie. I really do like Blackbeard (Ian McShane) as the Evil-of-all-Evil-Pirate. Ian McShae really carries this role to the core! Here's some fun facts that I have found on Blackbeard. Blackbeard was originally a real legendary pirate named Edward Teach who wasn't as Evil as he seem to be in the movie. No wonder, the character seems real to me. Do you feel so?

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Strangers Tides is from a World Fantasy Award for Best Novel and Locus Award for Best Fantasy Novel - On Stranger Tides by Tim Powers in 1987. Screenwriters Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio for Pirates of the Caribbean uses the novel as inspiration for this sequel.
On Stranger Tides book cover

I do like the romance between the Priest and the Mermaid. Mysterious yet politely loving. Toward the end of the movie it just makes me keep thinking how will the ending for the Priest and the Mermaid. Some how I think there will be a sequel for them, Captain Jack Sparrow and his new journey with the Black Pearl. Don't want to rave much on Captain Jack Sparrow as it's an awesomesauce character played by Johnny Depp ~ <3 So just go catch the movie before it's not held in cinemas anymore!

Something Borrowed

Tickets to Something Borrowed

Yup! Got myself tickets to watch Something Borrowed! This time is a contest from MSN. Thank you very much for the movie! Without further ado, here's the trailer and synopsis.

Rachel (Ginnifer Goodwin) is a talented attorney at a top New York law firm, a generous and loyal friend, and, unhappily, still single-as her engaged best friend Darcy (Kate Hudson) is constantly reminding her. But after celebrating her 30th birthday, perpetual good girl Rachel unexpectedly ends up in the arms of the guy she's had a crush on since law school, Dex (Colin Egglesfield)...who just happens to be Darcy's fiancé. As one thing leads to another in the frantic weeks leading up to Darcy's wedding, Rachel finds herself in an impossible situation, caught between her treasured friendship with Darcy and the love of her life. Meanwhile, Ethan (John Krasinski), Rachel's constant confidante and sometimes conscience, is busy evading the affection of Darcy's hopelessly love-struck friend Claire (Ashley Williams) while harboring a secret crush of his own; and the charming and irrepressible Marcus (Steve Howey) has designs on Rachel that don't necessarily exclude any other woman who catches his eye.

Colin Egglesfield is urber charming! He looks similiar to Tom Cruise but I would so prefer Colin more! I was totally suck by his charm in the movie! *Dreaming* Kate Hudson seem always acting such bitchy role just like in Bride Wars (with Anne Hathaway). Though she's a good actress with a humor, I like to watch her movies.

 Charming right? ~♥

The movie is quite funny, with Ethan (John Krasinski) and Marcus (Steve Howey) characters in it. If these characters were not in the movie it would be just another boring love story. The storyline for this movie is well develop but the time frame for Rachel (Ginnifer Goodwin and Dex (Colin Egglesfield) to know they both actually love each other dragged a bit long.

Took them 6 years to realize...

Go watch how the movie ends. I do think the storyline do reflect to a lot us in reality. It's quite true that everyone have dilemma before marriage, after marriage or even about marriage itself. Who is the right one? Will the right one last forever? Do I really love the one I'm with now? Will the love last? What is love? and so on, so on. As the movie's quote " It's a line line between love and friendship", you do really do not know where does the love of your life come along and when. It might be the person that is always by your side.

I do believe a statement made by Ethan's dad in the movie. "Is not always what we want and what we need to make decisions, is always what is right or wrong and our morality that stop us from making those decisions." It's totally so TRUE! So I do believe that decisions as such really need a lot of courage and support to make. Outsiders may think is wrong but for you is right, who is there to judge? who is there to define what is right and wrong? Is only ourselves that make decisions and by making decisions we need to accept the consequences that comes with it. It's called LIFE, agree?

Now run along and go watch it, who knows? You may get the answer you want to know ;P

Priest

Won myself tickets to watch Priest! Thank you Nuffnang, you guys are too good to me!

Nice movie tickets and I <3 Nuffnang badge

This is the movie trailer:

Don't think I need to tell you about the story after you have watch the trailer, like they say a 'trailer' tells it all. Don't want to be a spoiler too ;P

Before commenting on the movie would like to share some food I ate before watching the movie. Went to ate Taiwan Recipe at Midvalley Mega Mall. It's just opposite GSC cinema next to Carl's Jr. It's my first time eating there but I have fond of eating Taiwan food already. Wanted a light dinner so ordered Green Milk Tea, Spicy Beef Hotpot and some Pork Dumplings. The Green Milk Tea was just so so only, nothing special. The Spicy Beef Hotpot is very spicy for me. Although I'm not the kind who can eat spicy food. So, for those chills  lovers you might find it just spicy or not only. Pork Dumplings are tasty. Overall is quite a good meal, prices are slightly reasonable, depending on what you order.

It's time for movie after a grateful meal. Bought popcorn and drinks *yumz*

The action scenes with CG effects are great in this movie combining the great sound effects. The soundtracks are awesome too. I hate it when movie soundtracks were it doesn't suit the scene or the song just sucks. The fight scenes are very cool too. You can feel their pain when either the vampire or the Priest gets hit.

I like the weapons the Priest (Paul Bettany) uses, especially the bible one. At first I really thought, he just reads wanted to read the bible and the vampire will just dead, instead it's those flying ninja darts *don't know what are they called =.=" * I was like brilliant and awesome at the same time! Thought different Priest uses different weapons, cross metal stakes, metal chains, cross bullets and so on.

The bikes in the movie are quite the highlight of it. It's adds class for the movie. The bikes looks classy and authentic with touches of high-tech gadgets.

One of the Priest (Maggie Q) on bike

Speaking of Maggie Q, I erm... don't really notice of her acting in any of her movies, probably I don't have any liking of her neither does on hating her. Somehow in this movie, there is a scene where her acting is being notice. Is the scene that she confess her love for the other Priest (Paul Bettany) *almost sob*

The ending for the movie, I feel it's a bit of a disappointment. It kind of a quick ending. The main villain aka Black Hat (Karl Urban) was easily defeated and ends in a quick happy ending way. Although, it show that the Black Hat was defeated but somehow it got us to think, is he really dead? Seems like there will be a sequel.

One thing I do like about the movie is the vampires. They are not those mushy-mushy-handsome-Twilight-vampires. These vampires are mean, angry, fierce and hungry! They are ugly too!

Vampires should be scary creatures that scares you, not OMFG-you-are-so-handsome-come-here-and-suck-my-blood-cause-I-want-to-die-and-be-with-you-forever! Nah! Ugly and mean vampires are much more interesting to watch, beside they just give your heart a bigger pump and you might have a hard time going to bed.

It's a above average movie so, you still can head to the cinema and catch the movie so that you know what I'm talking about. Now go!

Maroon 5 Makes Me Wonder ~ ♥

This post is so over due but is better then never posting it.

Maroon 5 came to KL for their first time LIVE concert at Stadium Bukit Jalil on 29th April 2011. It's about a week later from Justin Bieber's KL Concert. Honestly, I really do think Justin Bieber is overrated. Before he came there's already a lot of advertisements, contests, radio raving blah blah blah.... on his KL Concert. For Maroon 5? There's not even advertisement or contests which is the put-in-your-face type. Just really low profile of their arrival. I found out Maroon 5's KL Concert through newspaper and it was just a one time advertise only. I straight ran out to get tickets a month ago before the concert ;)

I know I'm poor can't get ROCK ZONE, it would be more awesome!

When I was choosing nice seats for the concert, most of the nice seats were SOLD OUT! FML! Luckily enough, I manage to get first row seats for a nice view. So that no other fanatic fans can block my view on the concert. *smirk smile*

*Flash forward* Concert day! I arrived earlier and there's already a long long long queue waiting to get into the stadium. Almost an hour later only I arrived at the entrance of the stadium to be check and get in. By this time, there's not much hyper mode for the concert =.= it was a hot day too.

Took another half more hour to wait for everyone to get into the stadium and Maroon 5's arrival. Snap pictures and didn't camwhore cos not yet hyper mode, quite sick of waiting and of course need to remain a lot of space for maximum Maroon 5 pictures!

My view from my level 1 front row seat

Concert starts quickly when Maroon 5 walks up to the stage and started singing. The concert is almost 2 hours and Adam Lavine can really sing without resting much. He can really SING! His voice is the same recorded or LIVE! There wasn't any acoustic versions for any of the songs but LIVE is already awesome enough for me! I was shouting all the time and singing along with the band. There were few fanatics seated behind me sing super loud and shouting "I LOVE YOU ADAM LAVINE!!!" all the time. Their sharp screaming kinda hurts my ear drum @.@

Adam Lavine with guitar
View from my seat of the stage

 Viewing of the big screen
Towards ending of the concert ~♥

There was a lot of interaction between the band and the fans. Adam is very great ♥♥♥ At the start of the concert, everyone was still shy and very obediently sitting on their seat. He wanted the crowd to have fun so on the second song, he ask everyone to stand up. All the VVIPs in the Rock Zone just get up and move themselves upfront as close to the stage. The security guards between the stage and the fencing of Rock Zone was very protective of the band, keep asking the VVIPs to back of from the fence. There was quite a hassle there and Adam saw it. He just say: "I don't know what's the matter here (moving his hand around the security guards between the stage and the fencing of Rock Zone) but these people pay good money to enjoy the concert." I was like awww..... he is so sweet! ♥ him max! *Wish I have bought Rock Zone seats FML*

There was few more interactions between the band and the fans like hand waving, clapping and singing a short phase of the sing between two sides of fans. Adam even joke a bit. There was a few moment my heart just melts. You can really just fall for Adam in just a split second. My seat is at level 1 and Adam was just singing on stage walking around. When he walk over to the area of my seat and he look up and pointed and say "I see you, yeah!" OMFG!!! Blush and shy max! Heart melt max! ♥♥♥ I know he's not really pointed at me and see me but still, I just scream out loud!

Songs which I remember they sang in the concert (there are more which I'm too hype to remember):

1. Misery
2. Stutter
3. Give A little More
4. Hands All Over Me
5. She Will Be Loved
6.Never Gonna Leave This Bed
7. If I Never See Your Face Again
8. Wake Up Call
9. This Love
10. Won't Go Home Without You
11. Sunday Morning

The concert is perfect ♥ So much ♥ from the band and the fans! ♥ them much! Hope they will come again! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Dreaming again...

It's sucks to have a day job! It stops you from being a kid, staying at your own zone and most of all stops you from dreaming. Well, to put it in better words ~ day dream.

I don't know about you guys but for me it did. It's like forcing me to be a responsible and robotic adult. Everything is so routine, so rush, there's always a deadline(FTS), blah, blah, blah!!!

I used to have a lot of dreams not unrealistic but achievable ones. Ever since I graduated and started working. Somehow I was being suck into this 'adulthood'. I sort of became like a robotic zombie and stop dreaming. Everything is very auto pilot and routine. I only can get relax by traveling. But tell me, how many leaves can you take off to go travel? Some companies won't even allow you to take 2 weeks straight off if you try to travel far. It's quite pointless.

Feeling FML most of the time, few close friends pull me back from going offshore. I kind of accepted what it is to be in the 'real' world. I still not quite dare to dream far. Until recently, I got really inspired and supported by some friends. I starting to have my dreams back. Not being afraid of what's going to stop me. Felt kind of silly thinking back that I stop dreaming. I'm so moving forward and try to achieve all my achievable dreams.

Wish me luck and support me ya ;) thank you very much ~ <3

I’m a Pirate, Take Me To Stranger Tides!

Ahoy mates! Guess who's back? It's Captain Jack Sparrow! (aka Johnny Depp ♥ ) Yes! Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is finally here! *saw holy light* LOL

Pirates of the Caribbean 4

Look how manly is Johnny Depp! Aww... and there's Penelope Cruz hot hot hot! I don't think I need to say  more about the movie, you can check out the trailer.

Well, once more Nuffnang is being very nice to us and held another movie contest. Time to get 'adventurous' on winning some tickets (in 3D) to watch the long awaited movie and this time Nuffnang throw out more goodies for us! I would want to get my nails on these so that I can be as one as Johnny Depp *ooppsss thinking out loud too much* Nuffnang is throwing out these exclusive limited edition Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides OPI Lacquer & essential Manicure & Pedicure Service worth RM297!

 Picture is courtesy from Nuffnang

Don't wait, let the challenge begin! Contest question is "The best 3 things about being a pirate and why?"

I guess being a pirate you could be a cool bad guy kind of character but with brains, slickness, scary and a lot 'balls'! I don't think bad guys on land could carry out such character. I would think that being a pirate you need to have a lot of brains. To be able to survive in the sea is not an easy tasks. With just the help of a compass and map how the hell do you know where you are heading to and what is ahead of you? How do you know Island A has what and Island B has what and how do you need to go there or not to go there? Pirates are slick and scary they can scam or conned you in a second. Not even compare to scammers from land. Scammers from land will have to set of some plot and need helps from other scammers to only able to conned you, not even knowing the plan is a success or not. Pirates would just show their face and scare the hell out of you and you will just drop every valuable things and runaway to save your own life. Or if scary face does not work, they can easily steal from you anyway, no need weapons to point at you. You got to have a lot of 'balls' to be a pirate because it's dangerous out there in the sea during day or night. Of course, you need to have a lot of 'balls' to steal, conned, scam, fight with other pirates, find treasures and most of all survive out there! I can't even imagine you guys get stuck in the sea without your iphones, ipads and internet. You probably die of boredom within seconds.

Being a pirate is great because you get to speak pirate language where normal people will have a hard time listening and when they do understand, pirate will be out of the room in a poof! It's great being a pirate were you get to wear strange outfits or mismatch outfits and nobody gives a damn! With accessories like single eye pads, swords, one wooden leg/hand, talking parrot, pipe and you name it! Pirates fashion is on it's way out with all the branded fashion please..... Call the fashion police? Nah.... fail outfits are 'in' for pirate fashion!

Best of all being a pirate is best of the best because of the freedom! Freedom to travel anywhere anytime! For us we need to wait cheap promotion budget airline fares! FML Freedom for free sashimi all the time! For us we need to go to Japanese Restaurants to enjoy it with a pain ass bill later! FML x2 Most of all tax free! Pirate can rob, steal or find treasure golds and keep every single cent of it! For us we need to be TAX!!!! FML max!

I think I went overboard with the reasons but hell I want to be a pirate! Off you go! *point sword at you and force you to walk the plank* and also tickets and also OPI please please please pick me!
