Night Portrait X United Bear Buddy

This is the second time I'm a 'white mouse' for Zeisuke's photography practise. Nah, we both actually 'white mouse' for each other. I didn't get to publish the first time because I look bad LOL. You may check it out here and maybe if I feel like posting more about it I'll do so.

First time was taken at iCity and Midvalley during Xmas time and this time is taken at Pavilion during Xmas time too. Time do flies, it's already been a year ago that I have taken shoots.

Less talk and here's all the nice pictures I pick to post! Hope you are not bored it looking at them.

Giant Snow Globe
During our visit to Pavilion, there's a United Buddy Bear World Tour. I was very excited about it, we wanted to take more pictures of it but there were too many people gathering around waiting for their turn. We eventually gave up and just move on with our shoots.

United Buddy Bear originally from Berlin, it's an Art of Tolerance. It's a painted sculpture decorative street art that represents peace and harmony. I  this concept a lot!

Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie

How was your Xmas? Mine is plain simple and that's all I need. Wanted to have a Xmas-ish brunch, so headed down to Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie.
A bungalow bakery
There's a lot of raving about the place with it being a bakery that allows you to dine in and taste other than breads and pastries.  They do serve pastas, sandwiches, cakes, macarons, cookies, pralines and chocolates!

It was pack on Xmas day it self! Check out the full car park and the people squeezing around to get their favourite pastries.
I went a bit berserk when I saw the amount of choices for bread and pastries they have. I was erm... should I get this? This looks pretty? This looks delicious? Erm... Which should I get?

I end up having (clockwise) Chicken Pizza, Fruit Tart, Orange Tart and Mini Chocolate Croissant. The Chicken Pizza is not bad, Fruit Tart is something different, the custard is outside of the tart and it sits together with the fruits on top of a cake.

Orange Tart is my favourite, I thought there will be a bit of bitterness of orange but to my surprise it doesn't. It's the sweetest amount all I choose. The burn caramel is the bomb! *drooling now*

Mini Chocolate Croissant is delicious as well, if you know me well enough, you know how I love my chocolates. Enough said.
Had an extra Mentai Baguette, it's more of a savoury one after much sweetness. I love it! Never thought you can serve Mentai with bread. Though if it's heated before serving will be perfect.
Even though it's pack and difficult to find a place, was lucky enough to find a corner seat with a nice window view. One thing missing is birds chirping while I slowing sip my latte and reading a book.
Irish Latte
I didn't know you can get Irish Latte either. My utmost favourite latte is Hazelnut Latte, Irish Latte comes second. It tastes Baileys Irish Cream alike without the alcohol. It would be nice to have it in your coffee :P
Cafe Latte
Tried their original Cafe Latte, I guess Irish Latte is the winner already. Tasted slightly plain for my liking.
Seafood Spaghetti
They should label it SPICY to warn those who doesn't like 'hot' stuff. I didn't had much of it bcos it was too spicy, all I had in my mouth is 'hotness'! They do serve their seafood generously, look at how huge the prawns and squids are.
The upper floor of Levain
Levain's prices is slightly above average but it's quite worth and once in a while, why not slurp yourself for a good breakfast? After all, the best meal has to be breakfast to start your day.

Tak Nak

Do you ever feel curious when you see someone smoking? Everyone does, doesn't it? During my teens whenever I saw someone smoking, the first question that pops in my head is "Is it THAT cool to smoke?", the following question will be "How does it feel to suck in smelly smoke and puff it out and feel good about it?"

I guess every teenager will have these questions and those who smoke will think that they are cool too. In fact, it really isn't. ALL of it are excuses to have a puff.

I always wanted to have a puff of it when I'm around some of my smoker friends. Though I will force myself from having a try. You know what smokers always say, I can't stop after I try it. To be honest, I did tried ONCE! Just a puff?! *shameful* After that puff I will always say NO! #taknak

It's horrible! How could anyone do it! I admit my curiosity took over me but I will NEVER do it again! It really IS poison!

During my college years, I feel lucky that I only have a handful of smoker friends. That means that I'm not expose to second-hand smoke. Second-hand smoke is 2X the toxic that kills non-smokers! Imagine that you don't even smoke but you die because smokers smoke in front of you! *touchwood*

As I grew towards adulthood, my percentage of exposing to second-hand smoke increase. Either my co-workers are smokers or those I-can't-handle-the-so-call-stressful-society-I-need-to-smoke people are always around me.

My handful of smoker friends has increase too, they do know that I don't smoke and they'll chose not to smoke in front of me or go far far far far far away from me to smoke. After they have smoke I still can smell the after smoke on them =.= What's the point, why not you just don't smoke when you are out with me? Most of all, I will tell them to quit. Smokers will also say "I'll quit soon" or "I'm quitting, I smoke lesser now" but yet you are still doing it! *urrggghhh* *excuses*

One thing I notice, the amount of ladies smoke has increase over the years. Especially office ladies, you will see them smoking during lunch or in between work breaks.

It's terrifying to know that ladies do smoke so often! How could they not think about their health and beauty? Everyone do know that smoking brings many types of cancer to smokers themselves and non-smokers. But they choose to be ignorant about it, ignoring the fact they know about what smoking may bring to their health and ignoring the disturbing graphical warnings printed on every single cigarette box.

Ladies smokers health are at a higher risk compare to male smokers. Ladies smokers is at higher risk in breast cancer and infertility. Fine, if you are not afraid of dying, what about beauty? You want to be ignorant about it too? Smoking makes your skin dry, you might have breakouts, yellow-ish teeth, hair loss? Tell me honestly that you don't care about you looks too?

My throat feel damn dry after a few hours of smoke exposure in clubs and my nose can hardly feel or smell anything correctly. How could yours be any different? I personally hate ignorance parents who smoke in front of their KIDS! OMG! How could they grow up healthy with you puffing tons of toxic into their lungs?!!!!

Alright, you might be wondering why am I blabbering on and on about smoking. WHY? Because smoking kills! Not just you, your loves ones too. Why are you so selfish that even you die you have to drag other people with you?!

New Fangirl of IU

My recent addiction is listening to IU's latest album ALL DAY LONG! Crazy as I am but her voice is really cute, smoothing, unique and pleasant.

IU - Teacher feat Ra.D

This is in my non-stop repeat playlist. When I'm in anger or stress, I just listen to this song, it's like therapy to me LOL

IU - You and I

The video is very fairy tale like, suits her album title Last Fantasy.

IU - 4AM

This song is also from her Last Fantasy album and written by IU's idol Corinne Bailey Rae (who I listens too as well), IU did the opening concert of Corinne Bailey Rae when she tours Korea earlier this March. How amazing is it to do an opening for your idol's concert

I got to know IU when I watch a Korean Drama - Dream High.
I found more earlier videos of her as well. She do sings a lot of cover songs from other artists. She's good doing covers, not singing exactly like the original singers but added her own style and tune. BTW, she plays the guitar and composes her own songs.

IU - Gee/Lie/SorrySorry

I lover her Big Bang - Lie cover! Totally different from Big Bang's version  !!! Check out the emcee's expression when she sings it. He's so stunt and in love with her!

IU - I Need A Boy

Is one of her earlier covers, it's actually's TaeYang - I Need A Girl. Nice?

I'll continue listing to my IU now, you guys go ahead and enjoy!

Mission: Impossible 4 - Ghost Protocol

This is very funny, I won 4 tickets from one of the current MSN 25 Days of Christmas contests to watch Mission: Impossible 4 - Ghost Protocol at IMAX TGV Sunway Pyramid.

It was an early bird movie on a Saturday morning. I tried to invite my pals to go along but none is available. Anyway, my plan was to go ahead to watch the movie and give away the other extra tickets to anyone I met there. After all, it's the Christmas month right? Need to show some Christmas spirit!

On the day itself, wait for it, I overslept! Cos the night before I slept at 5AM to celebrate BFF's birthday! It was already afternoon when I woke up. Yes! I MISSED FREE MOVIES!!!! FML!

I was a bit sad and felt ashamed that I wasted the free movie tickets. To thank the good people of MSN, I decided to PAY and watch the movie that I had MISSED.

Enough of blabbering to the movie.
I won't rave much on Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise), obviously he still got his charms with a wee bit of aging (still handsome).
Agent Hunt (Tom Cruise)
The movie won't be complete if we didn't see his packs!!!
Long story short, upon a global terrorist bombing in Kremlin forces the IMF to shut down. Ghost protocol is initiated and Agent Hunt will join his new team mates - Agent Jane (Puala Patton), Agent Benji (Simon Pegg) and Agent Brandt (Jeremy Renner) to go undercover to clear their organization's name without backup, without contact, totally off the grid.
Agent Jane (Puala Patton)
Agent Benji (Simon Pegg)
Agent Brandt (Jeremy Renner)
I adore one of the assassins Sabine Moreau (Lea Seydoux), at first sight in the movie I knew she's huge but I just can't put my finger in it. Later on, got to know that she's actually the face of Prada's Candy Perfume. She was nominated for Cesar Award for Most Promising Actress in 2009, that's huge! She totally swap my feet away.
Sabine Moreau (Lea Seydoux)
There's even a cat fight scene of Sabine and Agent Jane.
There's a good amount of humour here and there in the movie that doesn't make it too intense to watch.
Of course, there's action scenes that keep you at the edge of your seat.
Sand Storm
Climbing the world's tallest building - Burj Khalifa
One of the less impressive things in the movie for me is, the agents using iPhone or iPads to carry out missions. Out of their cool, creative intervention of weapons and equipments, they choose to use iPhone or iPads with well pretty awesome apps to carry out missions, seriously?! *roll eyes*
It's still a good action movie to watch that they manage not to disappoint their Mission Impossible fans.
