Pirates of The Caribbean: On Strangers Tides

Ngek..Ngek...Ngek... I got tickets to watch Pirates of the Caribbean: On Strangers Tides WAY before you all!!!! Hmm... although this is a WAY late post, Blogger PHAIL!!! As to recall for you, I previously had written a post for the movie contest. You can read it here. Big thanks to Nuffnang again! Love you guys!
 Tickets !!!

Watch this movie in 3D but it wasn't as great about watching it in 3D as I thought. So off you go money saver tip, watch this movie in 2D is just as good enough. I guess there wasn't much characters/animals/CG effects that could have a 3D effect on. If it's in cartoon/animation 3D will be awesome! It's a well worth of 2 and a half hours movie. *phew...my ass wasn't hurt from the excitement*

This sequel is not as complicated as the previous and you do not need to remember any of the previous sequels to understand this one. There wasn't much linkage with the previous sequels. There's no Orlando Bloom, no Keira Knightley, no Chow Yong Fatt? (joke phail!) For those absence in this sequel was replaced by Penelope Cruz and Mermaids!!! (Astrid Berges Frisbey as the main mermaid)

Usually Mermaids are always being told that they are beautiful, harmful and sings well. In this movie, Mermaids are being beautiful, sings well, seduce men, rape them and eat their flesh alive! FTL Beautiful yet evil! I like it's how been told in here. There's a battle scene between pirates and mermaids! Mermaids just kick ass! (or tails)
Me not being a spoiler so you should go watch the movie yourself. I will not be telling how the movie is going to be but just on the likings of the movie. I really do like Blackbeard (Ian McShane) as the Evil-of-all-Evil-Pirate. Ian McShae really carries this role to the core! Here's some fun facts that I have found on Blackbeard. Blackbeard was originally a real legendary pirate named Edward Teach who wasn't as Evil as he seem to be in the movie. No wonder, the character seems real to me. Do you feel so?

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Strangers Tides is from a World Fantasy Award for Best Novel and Locus Award for Best Fantasy Novel - On Stranger Tides by Tim Powers in 1987. Screenwriters Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio for Pirates of the Caribbean uses the novel as inspiration for this sequel.

I do like the romance between the Priest and the Mermaid. Mysterious yet politely loving. Toward the end of the movie it just makes me keep thinking how will the ending for the Priest and the Mermaid. Some how I think there will be a sequel for them, Captain Jack Sparrow and his new journey with the Black Pearl. Don't want to rave much on Captain Jack Sparrow as it's an awesomesauce character played by Johnny Depp ~ <3 So just go catch the movie before it's not held in cinemas anymore!
