Ash Green Hair and Short Hair

Finally I have the time of the day to blog! I'll be starting my long hol today and hopefully I get to rest, party, enjoy and clear out my list of things to complete before the end of the year!

Well, being a red head is not easy to maintain and the colours wear off very quickly. My hair grow out quickly too and the length got a bit annoying. So I head to the salon (last month) to get a new colour and chopping of the heavy length.

I did show you guys a preview of my hair before I get it done here. If you are lazy to click it, here's the preview.
I really like the dip dye red I had but I feel like trying out another colour, so this time is Ash Green. My hair stylist told me that I had to bleach my hair before dying the Ash Green. I had never bleach my hair before and was a bit afraid but I was convinced.

My hair stylist explains that hair dye is the same as play with water colour when you were a kid. Some colours can be mixed and some can't and you will end up with shitty colour, literally. If you have already guess it, is green cannot be mix with red, the colour would not show if you do not bleach your hair to a neutral colour.
Bleach hair! Fugly!
I look weird in bleach hair, maybe I should go platinum blonde?! LOL

Anyways, here is the end result of a fresh dyed Ash Green hair, love it! I was told the colour will wear off quick as well but my good hair stylist added more green in the dye to make it last longer. The freshly dye colour will have a lot more green-ish look but I'm fine with it.
Finish look
I wanted to keep track on how quick the colour will fade and I was hardworking in keeping track for 3 days only FML. Thus, I added in some up-to-date colour status to compensate.

Alica's wedding with StupidGang!
That was 2 weeks ago during one of our StupidGang member's wedding! The green has almost faded and it become this brownish blonde. Alicia is happily married! I'm so happy for her. Most of the StupidGang members attended the wedding dinner and it has been such a long time we all meet up. We should do it more often guys!

This is the same day of last week, the colour has now faded to blonde LOL! Attended another wedding dinner. *Dress is from Korea*. Damn a lot of people either getting married or popping out babies this year! Excited for them!

Then! Something came on to me and in a quick moment I had SHORT hair! Freaking bob short hair!
Nice? It's a 60's Look with the bride of the day
OK! I'm playing with you guys, I didn't cut my hair short. It's just a wig, chill la! It was a request by the bride for her 60's theme wedding. I think I look kinda noob in short hair and I don't think I rock 60's look either FML.
Hmm... I have switch from colour to colour, I really have no idea what is next to come. We shall see *wink*

Wild Rocket

I'm in such a blogging spirit today that I have to blog 3 post in a row. So that I can make up for my lack of blogging and please forgive me *blink innocent eyes*.

One of the things I love to do in Singapore is trying out new food. My aunt recommended me to Wild Rocket. Everything I have is orgasmic! Yes! I have no other way of describing the food here.

Wild Rocket is located at Mount Emily in Hangout Hotel. The hotel is recommended by TripAdvisor and it really is a great place for backpackers.
The place is very cosy and bright which makes you feel cheerful and have a good appetite.

It was a rush afternoon lunch because it was my last day of my trip and I need to catch the bus. Me and my aunt ordered the set lunch they have which you can choose either 3 or 2 course meal.

Both of us ordered the 2 course set lunch as we both wanted to keep it within our diet but it's so hard to resists!
Nori Tsukudani Spaghettini with Arabian White Prawn
Fun Fact: If you find the naming of the food is a bit weird, fred not there's appendix at the last page of the menu to explain all about it.

The seaweed base dry stir fried spaghetti is something I have never tried before it's a new texture to me. The prawns are fresh and believe me, I usually have allergy after eating stir fried prawns but this one I'm fine with it.
Pomelo Salad with Tiger Prawns and Frozen Coconut Dressing
My aunt ordered salad as her main course. She has a strict diet of her own LOL! I had a tried on it, the coconut dressing does not overwhelm the pomelo, it's very refreshing and surprisingly filling! Maybe is the Tiger Prawns which is served generously.
Bread appetizer
I'm not bragging but even the bread served as appetizer taste damn good. It's soft and fluffy like sponge cake. I dipped it with butter and it's just melts heavenly in your mouth. Damnit! It's making me hungry now!
Puree of Roasted Black Sesame with Milk Ice Cream and Green Tea Dust
OMG! The black sesame puree is gooood! Eating it with the milk ice cream taste so smooth and creamy. I like the puree a lot as it still has a bit of the sandy feeling which I like. This dessert is fulling on it's own. If you  have a very very strict diet, I would suggest you just come for the desserts! You will be so satisfy!

PS: Pardon my lack of composition of the dessert pictures because all were taken in a rush and I would like to enjoy my meal more than taking pictures of my food.
Wild Rocket Strawberry Cheesecake
Tell you what, this is the best Strawberry Cheesecake I have EVER had! Most of all, it doesn't even look like a cake! Can you see the side of the white cream? If I were not to tell you what is it, you wouldn't know. It's the actual cheeseeeee..... can die or not? Loving it so much! They served it with fresh berries and Strawberries too. I want to have another one NOW!

I thought my aunt was crazy when she told me, she came with my cousins and another aunt. The four of them had SIX desserts! Guess they are not so crazy after all.

This place is definitely a place I want to come back again! Next time I will spend longer time to enjoy the place and the food

Keppel Bay

Keppel Bay is a place where I won't know exist in Singapore if not recommended by a friend. Thanks dear! It's really a nice scenic place if you want to get out of the city view. You can see the sea, sunset and it's a great place to work out too.

There's a lot of people exercising around the park and jogging around the bay too. It's a nice change of place to visit if you just want to have some chillax time. Continue to venture my Singapore photo posts.

I have practicing quite a lot of night shoots and I know that I really need to get a good tripod. All these pictures were taken using really steady hands and with the help of some stools to stand my camera.

Gardens By The Bay

Just came back from my recent holiday plus first-time-being-a-bridesmaid-wedding-ceremony for a dear friend  in Singapore. I know right, it's like Singapore is my second country. I visited a few places and you will get to see it in the next few blogs *wanna clear blog debts*. You will see from the next few blogs are mostly picture blogs because I need to put my Lumix G3 into good use right?

This trip, I did some visiting of the beautiful Singapore, gatherings and spend some chillax time. Really glad I did because I really NEED the relaxation. Well, the last trip I visited MBS so to complete the full visit of it, I spend some time strolling around Gardens By The Bay. It's just behind MBS, walking distance.

Though I reckon you visit the place in the evening time, where there's still sun light. You can check out the species and plants there. I went after dinner so only able to capture a glimpse of sunset and night view.
This is taken from the bridge to the garden. You can have a clear view of the river, Singapore Flyer and the Supertree Grove.
Fake sunset shot
Was testing some Expression Shots Mode from my camera, looks like a real sunset or not? The actual view of it is like the picture above.

Dragonfly Lake
This shot from the Dragonfly Lake is one of my favourite spots from Gardens By the Bay. I don't know if you can see clearly from the picture but there's two dragonfly sculpture in the lake. I bet this picture will look better if there's slight sunlight.
